Are pets allowed at the resort?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at the resort
Is there car parking, driver food, and driver accommodation available?
Yes, we provide ample car parking space at the resort. Drivers accompanying guests will receive complimentary dormitory accommodation. Food is available at our staff cafeteria for a nominal charge.
Is there a doctor on call at the resort?
The resort is equipped with basic paramedical facilities. In case of an emergency, the nearest hospital is approximately 27 km away.
What is the minimum number of nights recommended for a stay at the resort?
We recommend a minimum stay of 2 nights to fully experience all the activities and amenities the resort has to offer. For a more relaxed and leisurely experience, a 3-night stay is ideal.
Do you accept card payments?

How do we reach The Tamara Coorg and what is the condition of the roads?
The roads leading to the resort from various entry points are in good condition. However, as Coorg is a hilly region, it is subject to rainfall, which can cause seasonal wear and tear, particularly during the monsoon. We recommend an SUV for a more comfortable journey. We frequently host senior citizens and ensure they are comfortable during their stay. However, we recommend consulting with their family doctor before bringing elderly guests to Coorg, due to the altitude and weather conditions.

Most service providers offer decent coverage at the resort. However, as Coorg is a hilly area, mobile coverage may vary due to the remote terrain.
Are DJs and loud music permitted at the resort?
No, we do not allow loud music or DJs at the resort, as we strive to preserve the peaceful and tranquil nature of the surroundings, minimising any disturbance to the environment.

Yes, electric vehicle (EV) charging is available at The Tamara Coorg via Rebolt’s EV charger, conveniently located on the property.
What is the best way to reach the resort from Bengaluru or Mangaluru using public transport?
- From Bengaluru: Take a bus from Bengaluru → Mysuru → Virajpet. You can book your tickets with KSRTC. Once in Virajpet, take a cab for the final leg of the journey to the resort.
- From Mangaluru: Take a bus from Mangaluru → Madikeri, with tickets available from KSRTC. After arriving in Madikeri, book a cab for the final leg to the resort.
